educational toysSocial etiquette, having good manners, being polite to others and even saying “please” and “thank you” nowadays seems to be part of that “old fashioned stuff” that is no longer put into practice or encouraged. Both parents and pediatricians consider the ability of speaking one of the most relevant highlights in a child’s development, and therefore, it is quite reasonable that they start getting worried when the child does not talk or only expresses himself with a confusing and unarticulated limited variety of blubbering with no meaning at all. Children’s Toys – IQ Puzzle

IQ Puzzle

If you thought the Rubix Cube was hard, you clearly have not tried the IQ Puzzle. This is a simply constructed puzzle. Blocks are stacked onto various poles in order to form a whole cube. Simple? Not really — the blocks need to be put back in the exact right order in order to complete the puzzle and, unlike the Rubix Cube, there are no colours to help you to do it.

This game is more for children aged six and up and will help them to develop their spatial reasoning skills and also to think more strategically. It may also end up teaching them the value of patience. The thing here is that your child may not always know he has gone wrong until he reaches the end, and so he will have to learn to take it apart and start again.

This is a great tool to teach kids about perseverance and to keep them out of your hair at the same time. The puzzle is certainly not as easy as it looks and therein lies yet another life lesson for children. Of course, if mom or dad needs some stress relief, the IQ Puzzle is a great way for them to get it as well.
